The Wilson Staff FYbrid HS (Heavy Sole) range from is a collection of long-distance
fairway utility clubs that have been taken the revolutionary Wilson Staff FYbrid
series to the next level. The Wilson Staff FYbrid HS concept brings together fairway woods and
hybrid clubs into an easy to understand family that is designed to give golfers
the perfect combination of loft and length to eliminate redundant clubs and free
up space for the all important scoring clubs.
Developing the original FYbrid design the Wilson Staff engineers have included
a new Heavy Sole on the club that lowers the centre of gravity by 7% and moves it
deeper into the head of the club – resulting in a higher launch. The FYbrid HS also
features a new Dual Rail Sole plate on the sole of the club that improves turf interaction
by lowering the leading edge, thereby promoting better club face contact with the
golf ball from a variety of lies.
The FYbrid HS fairway woods come in a 3-wood (15 degrees) and 5-wood (18 degrees)
models and form the longer component of this long game revolution together with
the FYbrid HS utility and more lofted hybrids.
