Taylor Made designed the R7 TP fairway wood due to demand from Tour Professionals who wanted a fairway wood which incorporated the look of the V Steel – the No.1 fairway wood on the PGA Tour – with the trajectory-changing capabilities of Taylor Made’s Movable Weight Technology. Engineered with dual TaylorMade Launch Control (TLC) ports in which the weight cartridges can be installed and removed, allowing users to change the centre of gravity location to promote varying degrees of draws and fades which, in turn, promotes greater accuracy and distance. Features widely spaced TLC ports that dramatically boost the MOI (Moment Of Inertia) for longer, straighter shots even on mis-hits. Pull-face construction and a thin, flexible clubface delivers high COR and high initial ball velocity to promote above-average distance. The Titanium clubhead construction is strong yet extremely light; the saved weight makes the incorporation of TLC moveable weight technology possible.
