On each CG12 wedge, the grooves are milled to maximum conforming dimensions using a proprietary CNC mill bit to create envelope-stretching geometry. To improve shot consistency, the new groove geometry was coupled with an innovative plating process – making ZIP Grooves Cleveland Golf’s most consistent, precise, and visible wedge technology to date. Cleveland offers a wide choice of loft and bounce options – but it does get a bit complicated for the consumer! Essentially, the 46, 48 and 50 degree CG12 wedges are offered in standard bounce only – while 54, 56, 58 and 60 offer an option of low, standard or high bounce – denoted by, respectively, one, two or three dots on the hosel.
